It’s either going to be the muscles causing the problem and preventing movement. Or, the cervical vertebrae themselves aren’t doing what they’re supposed to be doing. The bottom line is the neck is restricted. . This is where it gets really good. We are going to introduce rotation into the spine and clear out that neck pain, now! . Grab a band, a rolled up t shirt or a towel because you’re going to need it. . Place it around your neck and hold the ends with each hand. Keep the band over the area of your neck that is ruining your day. Now pull harder on the hand that is opposite the direction you want to turn your head. If you can’t turn to the right for example, you’ll pull harder (forward) with the left hand the other hand simply holds in place. . While you’re pulling to the one side, actively work slowly to turn your head. . For the rest of the movements, jump on the video and follow along. . You’ll find that after going through these, your range of motion will be much higher and your pain will be much lower. . Do all of the movements 10-15 times each and then take a break. You can hit this as many times as you need to during the day. . Then back at it! .
